I am from Plymouth, lived there with Mum, Dad and Brother. First singing at 9 years old, with my mum, a folksinger, who would bring me on stage with her. I joined in with every choir, orchestra and drama show that was available and eventually moved to London in my teens to see if i could make a career from performing.

I was started acting, but soon realised music was my passion, and i sought work in local bars with pianos. Having been self taught on the piano i was never sure how people would react, but a firm grasp of Oasis’s back catalogue meant i could get through the nights. Taking request allowed me to pick up all the songs that people wanted.

Piano Kensington was a piano bar i worked at for years. It was incredible, packed every weekend, giving me to opportunity to craft an act, that became the Piano Animal. From here guests would ask me to play their weddings and birthdays and i grasped that opportunity until i could no longer commit to residencies and went full into private events. I introduced the cello, (my first childhood instrument), guitar and ukulele into my life again and took them to the weddings to create a full day experience.

Away from the performing i have a beautiful wife, 2 girl and 2 identical twins due in late 2025. I love being a dad and commit all my time away from work to raising, playing and being the best family man i can be. I have recently bought our first house, which we’re renovating. Life is busy and full on, but i wouldn’t have it any other way.
